Rails Envy Logo & Cards

// Posted in Branding, Design, Portfolio

Rails Envy LogoI recently created a logo and business cards for some friends of mine over at Rails Envy. If you’re at all into Ruby on Rails, it’s a very useful blog. It’s run by Gregg Pollack and Jason Seifer, both of which are great programmers that I work with on a regular basis. The logo is kind of a nerdy one. I was trying to convey a “rails is greater than all” type of message so, obviously we can represent that very minimally with code. I went with a green colour scheme to go along with “envy”, as you may have guessed. I think the mint green shade and avoidance of black gives the cards (and logo) a clean, retro-esque feel. As always, I invite you give me some feedback.

Pets & Errands by Serena Dog Logo ElementYou may have already seen the logo illustration that I did for Pets & Errands by Serena. Yesterday the website, petsanderrands.com, went live. Now comes the part where I wax validation. (more…)

Mesos Center Site Goes Live

// Posted in Branding, CSS, Design, Portfolio, Web

Mesos Center ScreenshotOne of the smaller projects I recently finished at my “full-time” is a website for our Weight Loss Center in Winter Park, Florida. The site is meant to serve as an online brochure to introduce our clinic which opens later this month. Therefore, the site is very simple, as there is currently only a need for one page.

Please visit the all new mesoscenter.com and let me know what you think. I’d love some constructive criticism.
